Founded in 2010 by director Scott Hansen, Digital Thunderdome is a premiere movie company offering high end video production across all avenues. We are located in Atlanta, GA and set up for the feature film Tax Incentive program and we have a full service studio. Working with a close network of experienced artists and industry professionals, Digital Thunderdome offers a wide range of creative services including, directing, pre-production, writing, camera operation, set design, special effects, makeup, stunt work, post-production editing and rental services at our studio. A one stop shop to either help produce your feature film or make your vision come to fruition.
The founder of Digital Thunderdome, Scott Hansen is a screenwriter & filmmaker from Virginia Beach, VA. He is widely known for directing the award winning Navy Seal Documentary called “Until It Hurts” (2015), and In 2016, he created The Possession Experiment which sold to Eone/Momentum Pictures for domestic and CMG for international distribution and was sold to 35 countries abroad. It also debuted in the top 10 in horror on iTunes for three weeks upon its release. The following year
Scott’s most recent film that he produced called “Bully” came out in Dec 2019 with a world wide release. In 2021 DT is released its highly anticipated Halloween movie called “Bad Candy” later this year starring Corey Taylor from the band "Slipknot” and Zach Galligan the star of Gremlins. Also in 2020 our football documentary called “Our Daily Bread” Starring X Washington Redskins star Greg Scott releases via Murphy Entertainment.
In 2022 Scott and Desiree started pre-production on their new vampire movie “The Virginia Bitches” (https://bloody-disgusting.com/movie/3715319/the-virginia-bitches-female-vampire-death-metal-band-opens-cannes/) that starts end of summer along with “How The Night Receives Them” starring Andrew Divoff (Lost, Air Force One, Wishmaster) which goes into production mid summer 2022.
Since his graduation from the Savannah college of Art & Design in 2006, Scott and has directed over 700 commercials & music videos for clients worldwide and produced four feature films in the past 5 years.


In 2014, Scott produced Until It Hurts, a documentary film about a piece of art commemorating fallen Navy Seals and how it has influenced a community. The film features Navy Seal Dave Hall and Wounded Wear founder, Jason Redman. The film went to be accepted to film festivals across the USA and won best feature film at Cayfest in 2016 and got world wide distribution.

In 2016, Digital Thunderdome created The Possession Experiment which sold to Eone/Momentum Pictures for domestic and CMG for international distribution and was sold to 35 countries abroad. It also debuted in the top 10 in horror on iTunes for three weeks. The film begins when a theology student uses a fundraising campaign to attempt to prove if demons exist.The film stars horror icon Bill Moseley (The Devils's Rejects), Greg Travis ( Starship Troopers), and Mark Joy (Dogma). The film was also sold to HULU for a 3 year TV deal.


Also In 2016 Scott jumped into the producers chair and made the feature film “Bully” starring Danny Trejo, Vincent Pastore and Ron Canada along with Disney star Tucker Albrizzi. It’s heading to Sundance 2018 and Berlin after that.
Also in 2018 production will begin on the highly anticipated “Project Fear’’ feature film.



Also in 2019 production bgean on Scott’s new Halloween anthology feature film called “Bad Candy”.
